Breaking My Heart Until It Opened
The manuscript is complete, and I am seeking literary representation.
Told in first-person present tense, Breaking My Heart Until It Opened is about how childhood loss, abuse, and messages that women matter less than men led me to abandon myself for love, until the consequences hurt so deeply my heart finally opened to me.
“Choosing to love instead of needing to be loved has made all the difference.”
