Coachella Fest isn’t the only thing happening in the desert

If you’re a desert resident, be sure and listen in to FitCulture Radio with Elli Tourje, KPSI 920 AM at noon today, Thursday, April 21, where I will be talking about it The Space Between: A Memoir of Mother-Daughter Love at the End of Life.

Of course, I want to sell lots of books while I’m here, but I’m most excited to reconnect with our many great friends. I’ve been delighted at the excitement my friends have expressed about seeing me again — and I feel the same! I see lots of hugs in my future.

In two days,  Saturday, April 23, between 1:00 and 3:00, I’ll be at Barnes & Noble Palm Desert for my second book launch.   I’m excited to see old friends and meet new people who will come by to have my book signed. One very special friend, Marcia Kaye, who I’ve known since grammar school, is driving in from Pacific Palisades that day just to buy books and be with me while I’m at Barnes & Noble.

This is the fun part of writing a book — telling my story on podcasts, radio shows and launches, and meeting new and old friends to celebrate the launch of my book.

I hope I’ll see you.
